Miranda has been dancing since the age of 7. When she performed her first routine to Madonna's "Vogue", she knew she was meant to dance. As a young performer and competitor, she danced both regionally and nationally competing in places like Panama City, Florida, Hot Springs, AR, Biloxi, MS, Myrtle Beach, SC, and Disney World.
She has a strong background in jazz and tap, but she has a true passion for the lyrical, modern, and contemporary styles of dance. Competitively speaking, she has won numerous regional and national competitions with Kid's Artistic Revue, Showbiz, and Talent On Parade. She has choreographed multiple award winning dance routines, high school flag lines, & pageants routines, earning her countless choreography awards and titles.
Miranda began to choreograph independently in 2012 until opening MK along side her lifelong dance partner and cousin, Kyle. She is thrilled to finally teach students how to express themselves in the art she loves, and looks forward to leading MK Studios to attain many successful years.
Kyle has been dancing since the age of 4 and competing since the age of 7. From the moment he stepped onto the dance floor, he knew this was what he was meant to do. His love of tap dancing defeated any of the other activities he was involved in as child. His tap dancing eventually grew into a love for jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop.
In addition to dancing locally for various events and shows, he has competed nationally in places such as Las Vegas, NV, Panama City, FL, Biloxi, MS, and Myrtle Beach, SC, and has achieved additional titles such as Mr. Showbiz and Mr. Teen Dance America as a student. Currently, he enjoys judging regionally and nationally for various dance competitions as a featured judge for Starpower, Talent On Parade, & Dance Machine – Americas National Dance Championships.
Kyle is a graduate from Arkansas State University where he received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing. His desire is to help lead MK Studios to earn a reputation of excellence and success in the world of dance and dance competition.
Since opening MK Studios, Kyle has danced in television commercial work and his choreography has been featured across the southern United States. Kyle enjoys traveling to host Master Classes and contract work for choreography – partnering with local schools, competitive gym teams, and local arts programs.
Kyle is a proud member of the National Dance Education Organization (NDEO) as well as an affiliate member of the Association Of Dance Conventions and Competitions (ADCC).
